Self-book a free 45-minute consultation on our booking page, or call the front desk and we will find a time. A card on file holds the appointment. Come in with the area shaved within a day or so and no lotion or deodorant on it, in case you decide to start.
Your provider looks at your hair color and texture, your skin tone, and your health history, then tells you plainly whether laser will work for you and what a course would look like. If it won’t work for your hair, we will say so.
If you want to start, your first session happens in the same visit. Sessions are quick, so you can get on with your day afterward. If you would rather wait, there is no pressure; you leave with the plan.
A cooling gel goes on the area and you leave with aftercare instructions. Sessions are spaced weeks apart to catch each growth cycle, and your provider adjusts the settings as the hair thins.

Does laser hair removal work on darker skin?
Yes. Our Cynosure Elite IQ carries two wavelengths. The Alexandrite setting suits lighter skin, and the Nd:YAG setting passes the surface pigment of deeper skin tones to reach the follicle underneath. Your provider assesses your skin at the consultation and chooses the setting for it, so we treat every Fitzpatrick type, I through VI.
Who performs the treatment?
Rewind Bar’s own clinical team, which includes Naomi Kapoor, PA-C, and Patricia Joseph, RN. Laser hair removal is the treatment we do most, on a device the team uses every day, and the same provider adjusts your settings session to session.
Which areas can be treated?
Almost anywhere there is hair: the upper lip and face, underarms, arms, legs, the bikini line through full Brazilian, and the back and shoulders. Most people treat more than one area in a visit. The Brazilian and full body pages cover those areas in detail.
What does a session feel like?
Most people describe each pulse as a warm flick of a rubber band, followed by warmth that fades within a few hours. Sensitivity varies, so your provider adjusts the settings if an area is more tender, and cooling air can run alongside the handpiece through the session.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. The consultation is 45 minutes and there is no charge for it. We keep a card on file to hold the appointment. If you want to begin, your first session can happen in the same visit; if you would rather think about it, you leave with a plan and no obligation.
