PRP microneedling?
Microneedling creates thousands of tiny, controlled punctures in the skin. The skin reads them as an injury and responds with new collagen and elastin, which is what smooths texture and softens lines and scars over the following months. The channels also let anything applied to the skin reach far deeper than a cream can.
PRP, platelet-rich plasma, is prepared from a small sample of your own blood. It is dense with growth factors and proteins the body uses to repair tissue. Applied over freshly needled skin, it goes exactly where the healing is happening and strengthens the collagen response.
Together they are the treatment commonly called the vampire facial: plumper skin, softer fine lines and acne scars, and a visible difference after a single session.
Rewind recommends a series of at least three sessions. If your scarring calls for more depth than needling alone can give, your provider will suggest RF microneedling instead.
PRP is drawn from your own blood and spun down to concentrate the platelets. Nothing foreign goes into the skin.
The microchannels carry PRP into the skin, where its growth factors trigger the healing response from within, beyond the reach of conventional skincare.
Microneedling carries the lowest risk of pigment changes of the resurfacing options, so it is the one Rewind reaches for on skin tones that can react to some lasers and peels.
At least three sessions, four to six weeks apart. Skin looks better after the first, but the collagen that lasts is built across the series.
When you want your own skin, only smoother and brighter, with nothing added but what your body makes, this is the facial.
Whether PRP microneedling is right for you is decided together at the consultation. Your provider looks at your skin, your concern, and your calendar, then tells you plainly.
Acne scars
Microneedling rebuilds collagen beneath textural acne scars, and PRP supports the repair. Rolling, boxcar, and ice pick scars all respond.
Fine lines and early aging
New collagen and elastin plump the skin and soften fine lines, without filler or surgery.
Dull, uneven skin
Tone, texture, and radiance all improve as the skin renews. Pores look tighter and the surface catches light again.
A few red days you can plan around
The redness is real for the first few days. If you can schedule it, the rest of the recovery is easy.
The whole face,concern by concern.
PRP microneedling is a full-face treatment; the PRP is applied across everything that has been needled. Where the change shows most depends on your concern: scarring on the cheeks and jaw, lines on the forehead and around the eyes, dullness everywhere.

The number of sessions in your series is set at the consultation, so you get one clear number before anything is scheduled. Payment plans through Cherry are available.
A small sample of your blood is taken and spun down to prepare the PRP while a topical anesthetic takes effect on your skin. Your provider cleanses the treatment area.
The microneedling device moves across the treatment areas at the depth chosen for your skin and the PRP is applied over the channels. Most people describe the sensation as light sandpaper across the skin.
Expect the skin to be noticeably red at first, settling over a few days. Stay out of direct sun and use only the gentle products your provider recommends. Plan social engagements accordingly.
Plumper, brighter skin after the first session. The collagen response shows at four to six weeks and keeps building for months. At least three sessions, four to six weeks apart, is the usual course.
Frequently asked questions
Is PRP microneedling suitable for everyone?
It suits most people and every skin tone. Microneedling carries the lowest risk of pigment changes of the resurfacing options, which makes it a safe choice for darker skin, and the PRP is your own, so there is nothing foreign to react to. Your provider reviews your skin and health history at the consultation before treating.
How long does a session take?
The treatment itself is around 30 to 45 minutes depending on the area. Add time beforehand for a small blood draw to prepare your PRP and for the numbing cream to take effect.
Does it hurt?
A topical anesthetic is applied before treatment. With it on, most people describe the sensation as light sandpaper moving across the skin, and it is well tolerated.
What are the side effects?
Redness is expected and can be quite vivid at first. It settles over a few days. Plan social engagements with that in mind, and expect the skin to feel a little sensitive while it calms.
How should I prepare?
Arrive with clean skin, eat and drink water beforehand since a small blood draw is part of the treatment, and tell your provider about any medications, recent treatments, or active skincare you are using. Anything specific to your skin is covered at the consultation.
What is the aftercare?
Let the skin settle: no direct sun, and only the gentle products your provider recommends until it calms. You go home with aftercare instructions and a morning and evening routine for the weeks between sessions, since a good share of the result comes from what you do at home.
How many sessions will I need?
Rewind recommends a series of at least three sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart, and some people benefit from up to six. Results are visible after one session, and each session builds on the last.
When will I see results?
Skin looks plumper and brighter after a single session. The collagen response shows around four to six weeks after each treatment and continues to improve for months, so the full result arrives after the series, not on the day.
